Welcome to the world of Yellow and Pink (my favorite colors)!  

This whole store came about because I love kids.   And I love buying them gifts that stand out and whether practical or not, there’s no doubt that it’s just absolutely adorable! So I was looking for a fabulous gift for Little Miss B.   Little B recently just turned one, but has already pledged her undying love for headbands and hats.   She rocks one in every picture that I have seen!   Anyway, I was meeting her parents for the first time - my future cousins-in-law - in San Diego and in desperate need of finding THE gift.   And then it came to me.   Barrettes!   Little B will just love them.  

 

 

Off I went to make barrettes for the first time.   In less than two hours, I made 8 barrettes, packed for a mini-getaway weekend, and hopped in the car to head down to San Diego. The whole drive down, I was so excited and just rambling to my future husband about what had just happened - how great it is to have a creative outlet, how much I love these barrettes, and wondering what else can I do! 

 

 

And that’s the beginning of Y&P.    Creating a store and products that makes me think of cotton candy, candy apples, ribbons, rainbows, hearts, stickers…. everything that I loved when I was 5… and obviously still love!   It’s a place I hope you’ll visit often to find that perfect adorable gift to spoil the little one that you love oh so much!
